Round & About at Howbery Business Park

Oxfordshire company, Round & About Publications Ltd, has taken a 2,000 sq. ft. office at Howbery Business Park, near Wallingford. The publishing company has relocated from The Old Coach House in Crowmarsh Gifford and is planning to increase the number of magazines it publishes across the Thames Valley in addition to recruiting three new team members this year.

Round & About Publications Ltd celebrated 20 years in print earlier this year having grown from one edition to 18 magazines distributed by Royal Mail across seven counties reaching over 340,000 homes each month, created by a team of 20 employees.

The company also provides bespoke services for a range of businesses from writing a brochure for local British Touring Car Championship team, Houseman Racing, through to customer magazines for local councils such as Henley.

Chris Savage, Managing Director, Round & About Publications Ltd said: “The decision to move to a modern office located at the park supports our business objective of continued growth. We have been extremely impressed by level of flexibility offered by Howbery in allowing us to change the office space to fit our requirements. It is also great to see the team arrive at work with smiles on their faces due to the fantastic on site facilities on offer.”

Howbery Business Park, owned by HR Wallingford, has a diverse range of businesses on site with major occupiers including GTI Media and the Environment Agency.

Lauren Patterson, Finance Director of Howbery Business Park, said: “We would like to officially welcome Chris and his team to our Howbery Business Park community. We are fully supportive of Chris’ growth plans for the company and aim to become the home of Round & About far beyond their six year lease as we continue to develop the park.”

Howbery Business Park has planning permission to create 70,000 sq. ft. of new office space. With a sustainable working environment set in beautiful grounds providing a stark contrast to many other business parks, the park has been able to attract and retain tenants to consistently achieve over 95 per cent occupancy.
